LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA

⦁ BTEC Level 3 are equivalent to A Levels. Most Universities accept and recognise BTEC as entry requirement for entry to the Degree courses

BTEC Level 4 to 7. Hold the The BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council) Level 3 Extended Diploma is a Further Education Qualification and a Vocational Qualification taken in the UK. The qualification is organised and awarded by Pearsons (Kaplan) within the BTEC brand and is equivalent to A Level.
Duration Two Years

⦁ BTECs are gaining popularity as an alternative to A Levels but they actually cover a whole range of academic levels. BTEC Level 1 and 2 are equivalent to GCSE Level

⦁ same status as achievement of a Degree

⦁ Students may take these qualifications at MCL or MCHE in order to gain entry to Higher Education. It is mostly course work based. Students will also be assessed through examination.

⦁ IT and Computing Extended Diploma Level 3 Units – IT Technology and Software, Hardware, Computer Science, Informational Systems
⦁ Media – Extended Diploma – Units. Media Production, Games Development, Interactive Media, Music Technology, Performing Arts, Theatre and Design
⦁ Entry Requirement
⦁ BTEC Level 1 and 2 Diploma
⦁ Five GCSEs or equivalent overseas qualification

⦁ LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN CYBER SECURITY AND MANAGEMENT
