FOUNDATION COURSE – ACCOUNTANCY WITH A LEVELS

Course Overview

The objective of the Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Accountancy is to provide learners with a foundation for a career in a range of organisations in relation to financial management and accountancy. It is designed to ensure that each learner is equipped with knowledge of accountancy, and the skills to adapt rapidly to change and progress with their learning.

The qualification is at RQF Level 3 which represents practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to GCE AS/A Level

Duration

9 – 12 months

Units

• Recording Financial Transactions (20 credits)
• Management Information (20 credits)
• Maintaining Financial Records (20 credits)

Assessment and Verification

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the MCL through examinations and externally verified by the Awarding Body’s external examiner

Progression Routes

Successful completion of Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Accountancy provides learners the opportunity for academic progressions to a wide range of undergraduate to HND/BSc in Accountancy and Finance or Business Studies at partners University.

Entry Requirements

• Five or more GCSE at Grade C or above.
• Other related Level 2 subjects
• Metric or other equivalent international qualification

Tuition fees foundation 100,000 RS per year 19/20
Plus 50,000 RS per A level
